Below Quiet

Submission for Godot Wild Jam 76

Theme: Frozen

Below Quiet is a short survival-horror game where you try to escape an underground freezer with  monsters from being frozen for too long that will stop you at any given chance if you make a sound. 

NOTE: Put on headphones for the definitive experience. And blast it up to max volume while you're at it ;).

Controls:

Forward: W

Backwards: S

Left: A

Right: D

Interact: E

Left Click: Shoot

Left Shift: Silent Crouch

Esc: Pause

Tools used:

Godot 4.3 (Engine and version used to create Below Quiet)

Trenchbroom (3D application used to create levels)

- (func godot was the plugin used to permit direct importing of trenchbroom levels into Godot)

Blender (to create specific models, to sort out downloaded models, lower vertex count to suit game style, etc.)

Audacity (to cut downloaded audio files to suit Below Quiet's specific atmosphere)
