The Leaps of Zeus

Catch Lightning bolts as Zeus as you race across the Earth! In this endless runner, you are a man with a hammer that has the might of the gods and is able to be charged through lightning. The man, as a mortal, can't live too long with this hammer in hand without channeling some electricity in and out the hammer. But if he's able to keep jumping and catching the lightning with his hammer, who knows how long he'll survive?

Instructions: 

If a lightning strike is in the distance, jump and point your hammer to the sky. Use the left click to rotate and right click when you are in the lightning blast to absorb its power. Slam the hammer down to channel its energy to the ground and gain extra time through it.

This was my first 3 day game jam. This also was my first time animating in 2D and I think the player and the lightning turned out all right. Very rough but I'm proud.
